The Answer Foundation was founded in 1973 to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are a small foundation and are supported by many volunteers. Together we ensure that the mission can be carried out. Low organizational costs (with only 1.4 FTE of staff) and great impact, that's how we make a difference. We carry Matthew 25:36 in our hearts: "I was in prison and you came to visit Me."
We see forgotten people in prisons abroad. People who live in bad circumstances without hope and perspective. Lovelessness and poverty are often the cause of their situation. Many turn their backs on them.
We want to look after them, to share the love of our Lord Jesus Christ. Together we long for lasting change and recovery in the lives of these prisoners.
We are committed to recovery and lasting change in the lives of prisoners. We look after them in their spiritual and material need. We do this in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Showing His love and preventing recidivism, that's how we make a difference. We are active in Eastern Europe and Africa.
We work together with the local church and local Christian organizations. They support the prisoners in their material and spiritual need and offer various training courses. In this way the church is a beacon of light in its surroundings. Together we pray that many, through this work, will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ.
